Who am I?
Hi there! My name is Rasmus Morrison and I am a multimedia designer living in Copenhagen, Denmark. I currently work at TDC, a danish ISP. My job is at customer helpdesk. I also collaborate with TDC’s online and process departments, optimizing support pages on the TDC website. My goal at TDC is to start working full time with projects related to tdc.dk.
I love great webdesign. I enjoy working with XHTML, CSS, jQuery as well as Photoshop when trying to get a message across through webdesign. It’s all about communication!
Also I am very interested in online communities. Our final project in school was a fan community for danish musician, Tim Christensen. I also love video editing and am very fascinated by the phenomenon “viral video”. In school we tried to make a video that we thought had a viral potential. It didn’t exactly go viral, but it was a fun project and a nice video nonetheless :)
Fun facts about me
I play the guitar and sing in an indie rock band called Minus The Weather. Our goal is to have enough material to start playing live shows in 2011. In the long run we want to release some of our own material. I will be sure to let you know when there is stuff for you to listen to :)
I guess I am a music-a-holic. Somehow there’s always music on my mind – either my own or someone else’s. I consider my brain a jukebox. If there’s not a song running – I’m broken :)
About this site
What you see is a customized WordPress theme that I made on top of the bluebubble theme by Thomas Veit. I have chosen to go for a theme inspired by “A Clockwork Orange”. Why? Because I absolutely love that movie and the clean aesthetics of it! (Don’t compare me to Alex though). All design was made by me. I have been tweaking the CSS where I needed it and also made a few useful jQuery scripts to make the site look nice.
The site is a place for me to display my portfolio and resume. Also this is my attempt at the whole blogging thing. This is where I will write about the stuff that interests me. My playground, so to speak.
